We have the God kind of faith, come on, let’s praise Him. I tell you, God is good, and He’s worthy to be praised. I’m excited about this week.

Let’s get started. Father, forgive me of sin. As I open my mouth to speak, I ask that you speak through me.

Let the words that I speak be edified to the believers. Let us build up and encourage each one to stand by faith, trusting you and believe in your word. In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen and amen.

We are continuing with the question, why does the enemy want you to focus so hard on your circumstances, trials and tests? And we know one of the main reasons because he wants you to be afraid. That’s right, the big F word, fear.

Daily Word members, wherever you are internationally, you know the enemy is going to come at you. Remember the word of God, 1 Peter 5, and he said, Satan is as a roaring lion going to and fro throughout the world, seeking who he may devour. So he’s looking for those who are in fear.

And if he can get you in fear, then you can advocate your authority and power. We know that Adam and Eve got in disobedience and look what it cost the world. As a result, Jesus had to come back and he crushed Satan.

But the simple fact is anytime we get out of obedience or get in disobedience, even if that’s not walking in faith, that’s disobedience, disobedience. So there is a blessing in obedience. So when we walk in authority that God has given us, then we have power over the enemy.

Well, look what the word explicitly states, that believers have authority over Satan primarily in Luke 10 and 19. Wherefore, Jesus said, behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy. This signifies that Christians have been given authority to overcome Satan’s power.

This is also considered the most direct reference to believers having authority over Satan in the Bible. Note this, Luke 10 and 19 indicates authority over Satan. It’s important to understand that this power is delivered from Jesus Christ, and is not meant to be interpreted as complete dominion over Satan in our own strength.

Did you get that? We are operating in strength of the Lord. The Word of God said, we are, what, more than conquerors through Him, through Jesus Christ.

Now, Ephesians 6 and 10 through 18, it speaks about the spiritual armor believers can use to resist and withstand Satan’s attack. Let’s continue. Note this, Satan and his angels were created by God.

The only problem is, they turned against God’s authority. Mm-hmm, yeah, they did. Listen, in Isaiah 14, 12 through 15, it says, How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning?

How art thou cut down to the ground, which didth weaken the nations? For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven. I will exalt my throne above the stars of God.

I will set upon the mount of the congregation in the sight of the north. I will ascend above the heights of the cloud. I will be like the most high.

Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. Now Satan’s power both in the heavenly realm and on earth is great and should not be underestimated. However, while Satan and his forces are formidable enemies, Jesus crushed Satan’s power.

Now look at Genesis 8-24, and it describes the consequences of man’s rebellion against God. After falling to temptation, humans are ashamed and foolishly attempts to hide from God. When confronted about their sins, man and woman confess.

Watch this, but both also attempted to shift the blame to one another. Adam even blamed God. In response, God issued three individual curses, which affect humanity to this day.

Mankind can no longer stay in that very good garden and is banished. Even so, God continues to provide for his creation. Thank God.

Note the word in Matthews 25 and 41. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire. Here we go.

Prepared for the devil and his angel. This fulfills the prophecy in Genesis 3 and 15. And that states, And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, And between thy seed and her seed, And it shall bruise thy head, And thou shall bruise thy heel.

Let’s deal with Genesis 3 and 15 just a minute. You see, this is in direct response to Satan’s deception and Adam and Eve’s disobedience. God pronounces curses on each of them, as well as on all generations to follow.

You see, in previous verses, God begins to curse, put a curse on both Satan, the serpent, and on Satan. He took the serpent’s form or body. In this verse, the curse focused entirely on Satan.

God promises to make enemies of Satan and the woman. In fact, their offsprings or seed remain enemies throughout all generations. Eve’s offspring of curse includes all of humanity.

Born one generation after another to present day, both who Satan’s offspring, it’s unlikely to refer to actual biological children of the devil. Satan’s offsprings may include his fallen angels and demons. Who will follow him?

It definitely includes those humans who come to believe and practice his lies. Oh man, you see, people think this is something to play with. You see them putting signs, how they’re following Satan, and many have gotten really bold and come out to outlandish, how they’re following Satan, and you see how many actors and many entertainers are drinking blood and doing all these practices.

They don’t understand, or maybe they do, but let me tell you, God has a place for Satan and his demonic forces. That’s why the scripture said it was prepared for not only for Satan and Zima, but for all those who made a choice to follow Satan’s practices. So this is not something to joke around with.

We even know Jesus calling out the Jewish religious leaders. In John 8 and 44, he said, You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding the truth, for there is no truth in him.

When he lies, he speaks his native tongue, his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. Remember, family, God cursed Satan. He has been an enemy of humanity since the beginning.

He cannot be trusted. 1 Peter 5 and 8 says, be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary, the devil, is as a roaring lion, walking about, seeking who he may devour. All right, we’re out of time.

I’ll get back with you on tomorrow. Now, speak to that mountain.

Lift your hands and say it was the blood. It was the blood.
