Let’s get started. Father, forgive me of sin. As I come before your people, I’m just excited about what you have placed in me to give to them.
Use my mouth in every word, that they can be edified, built up, and encouraged, Father. I know someone may be going through a challenge, but let this be something that inspires them to trust more in you. I give you praise, glory and honor, in Jesus’ name, amen.
We’re continuing with this morning, how the enemy works so hard to get you to focus on your circumstances, trials, and tests, is because the enemy wants to spark that fear. He wants that big F-word to just blow up, and he wants you to really, really get in fear. But the Word of God in 2nd Timothy 1 and 7 says, for God has not given us the spirit of fear.
See, that’s not something that God gave us. He said, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. So we read in our last lesson that perfect love casts out all fear.
So therefore, fear and faith don’t operate the same space. You know, I was meditating as I was preparing last night for this lesson and studying. The Lord just really, really ministered to me to go back and find photos of the studio and to send those out to you guys that prepare you for today’s lesson.
It’s because one of the things I shared with you, we’re not practicing what we preach. We’re preaching the things that we’ve actually lived through. This is stuff that we live through and we exist.
This is how we live. And so we’re sharing this with you so that you can take this and help you. You may be going through something, facing something right now.
I don’t know internationally, we’re speaking to Daily Word members all over the world. So we don’t know who’s going through what right now. But I am so believing that this is going to minister to you.
I know it is because God had me bring it up. Now when you look at the photos I sent you, we had just completed the studio in 2015 and of course a year later, then I come downstairs one morning and what? My whole entire basement is under a photo of water.
We had a really major flood here in St. Louis and everything was completely under water. So you know the first thing the enemy wants you to do is what? Get in fear.
He wants you to get upset. He wants you to act like Joe’s wife. What did Joe’s wife tell him?
Why don’t you just curse God and die? So he wants you to really get up. Oh God, why you did this?
Oh God, no, no, no, no, no, no. That ain’t how you roll. See, when you stab, notice this.
God has not given us the spirit of fear, but what of power and of love and of a sound mind. So regardless of the circumstance, the trial, the test come up, you remain calm. Remember, you got a sound mind, so you’re not freaking out.
And I’m so glad that the first words that came out of my mouth was, oh God, the Lord is about to give me a brand new recording studio. That was the first thing that came out of my mouth. God was, I looked out there and I saw opportunities.
I saw what God showed me what he’s got planned. Now here’s the deal that goes along with it. There is a process, and as I told you, look at a nine year or nine year walk, a nine year walk of faith.
Amen, of never backing down, every day speaking faith, every day thanking God, every day believing for each thing. Now I’m not going to really get into that process because I really, really want to go back and teach the process because you really got to see it because you’re talking nine years of exercise and standing by faith. But the part I want you to focus on is the fact that you do not allow fear when you’re faced with circumstances and this stuff is real.
So that’s why I wanted you to show you the pictures because you like, man, what are you talking about? No, no, no, we’re teaching you what we have lived. Now the Word of God says in Isaiah 26 and 3, it says, Thou will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee.
Now, because what? Because he trusteth in thee. Now, I want to tell you something.
It is so good to lay down in peace. That’s right. The Word of God says, don’t let the sun go down in your wrath.
But I’m taking it a step farther in the sense that I want to encourage you, watch the movies that you watch. Watch the music that you listen to. Watch the diet of information that you are taking into your senses before you go to bed.
Some of the things I’ve taught you about is that in the morning before every… I like to pray when I start. I always ask God to forgive me.
And also before I go to bed, I ask God to forgive me. And I also have learned to watch what movies are, watch entertainment, watch what you’re taking into your senses before you lay down. You need to lay down at peace, lay down with worshiping God.
I go to bed, the last thing I do is worshiping God and asking God to forgive me of sin. This way, I am laying down in a state of peace. See, what does that have to do with me getting up, looking at all that water in my studio?
Well, I lay down in that state of mind. So when you wake up, you could be woke up in an emerging situation. Where’s your mind when you wake?
Where are you when you get up out of your sleep? Well, it’s a, thou will keep you in perfect peace whose mind. So if you go down, you lay down with your mind state on him, the guess what?
That’s what you’re going to wake up with your mind. So when I woke up, thank God, my mind was in a state of peace, and I didn’t freak out, I didn’t panic. Amen
Everything is underwater. I didn’t think about all the money that was down there, all the equipment and stuff like that. I didn’t freak out.
Yes, we had to go through and do the work. Yes, I had to strap on my boots. Yeah, we had to get in there.
And the process, and like I said, I’m not going to deal with the process. I mainly am dealing with the fear aspect. The enemy wants to get you rattled.
He wants to get you out of that sound mind and get you out of faith, because if he can get you rattled, amen, you advocate the blessings, you advocate the process, you don’t glean all that God has for you to glean, amen. Look at the mess that comes out of this. I’ve got so much to teach you guys just on this process of nine years of dealing with this and trusting God and believing God, never backing down, never giving up, amen.
And listen, as I told you in the rest, that was the first of three floods. Are you getting this? So, it’s tough not to really get into it right now, but let’s stick with this.
Isaiah 49, 41 and 10 says, fear not, for I am with thee. Be not dismayed, for I am God. That’s the same thing God instructed Moses.
Tell Pharaoh, I am sent you. That’s right. I am the most high God.
And guess what? He is still I am. He is still my I am.
He is still your I am. I am whatever you need. He is that.
He is that for us. And he says, for I am God. I will strengthen thee, yea.
I will help thee, yea. I will uphold thee. Here we go.
With thy right hand of my righteousness. And we did that study on his right hand. Jesus is sitting at the right hand of the throne of God, making intercessions for us right now.
See, that’s why we can’t afford to advocate our authority and give away what we have. That’s why we can’t get in fear, because you have so much behind you. You have so much back in you.
And so you have to continue to stand regardless what it looks like. Daily Word family members internationally, I don’t know what you’re facing this morning. Some of you are maybe facing major things and don’t know what to do.
I’m going to tell you what to do. What you’re going to do is take your stand and go to God and lift up your hands and begin to praise God, Father. He said, he said, count it all joy.
When your faith is tried, count it all joy. Like Pastor KBN, you don’t understand. Yes, I do.
Fifty years of just being in this going through list, my wife and I have been together. Man, you have no idea all the stuff we’ve been through. We’ve been on death’s edge behind the gospel.
So don’t tell me I don’t know. I don’t know at all. But I do know that in every single circumstance, trial and test that God was there, he never failed me.
Now listen, he said, I will never leave you nor fail you. But the problem is people are leaving and failing him. Oh yeah.
See, see, he’s not going to leave you or fail you. But the question is, are you leaving and failing him? Have things gotten too rough so that things, circumstances look so impossible that you just totally give up and throw in the towel?
No, you really can’t do that. He tells you, fear not. Why?
For I am with thee. So regardless what you are dealing with today, I am encouraging you, I’m building you up, I am beseeching you, stand by faith. Trust God, do not be moved by what you see or by your senses.
Amen. Yes, it is real. Yes, they say fear, fear, they have that acronym for fear.
But let me tell you, circumstances are real. Those tests are real. Things that you are looking at are real.
But I tell you what, so is God. So is the Most High God who is on the throne. So is Jesus right now, who is making intercession for you right now.
Right now, you have Jesus at the right hand of the throne of God, making intercessions for you. Praying and intercessing. You stand, don’t give up, don’t give in.
Amen. Open your mouth like I did. Say, Father, I speak this over that.
If your car has just been totaled, say, hmm, well, I guess that car wasn’t good enough. The God’s got that something better for me. Yeah, you walked out alive.
“You don’t have a scratch, but your car is total. But guess what? God got thousands of cars.
And guess what? Maybe the one that you had wasn’t good enough for you. So God is just simply, hey, maybe that job that you have that they let you go may not be.
God has something much better for you. Amen. We are out of time.
I’ll talk with you again on tomorrow.
The way you do.
